A little whi­le back SOS Pri­ma­tes visi­ted the hor­se and other farm ani­mal sanc­tuary of the Aso­cia­ción de defen­sa de los équi­dos, Pro­tec­to­ra de caba­llos (ADE) (asso­cia­tion for the defen­ce of equids, hor­se pro­tec­tor). This is one of the refu­ges the cen­tre keeps thanks to dona­tions and gui­ded tours. The cen­tre visi­ted hou­ses 43 hor­ses, some don­keys and other farm ani­mals res­cued from many dif­fe­rent back­grounds: mis­treat­ment, aban­don­ment after not being use­ful any­mo­re to human whims, or due to the lack of resour­ces and ethi­cal responsibility.

We also brought 35kg of mate­rial dona­ted by Zoo de Bar­ce­lo­na, uni­forms, work clothes, glo­ves and masks, that are use­ful for the assis­ting team of staff and volun­teers, which in return, help the ani­mals. As you know, SOS Pri­ma­tes mana­ges the­se mate­rials and its deli­very, not only to pri­ma­te reco­very cen­tres, but also for other ani­mals.
