On International Women’s day we want to extend our gratitude to all the women that work at LPRC, Lwiro Primates and at the Heri Kwetu Centre, in Bukavu, both at DRCongo. In the first case, the women, being carers such as Janine or veterinaries that lead the guided tours, like Lina; look after the wellbeing of the animals that arrive orphaned and that do not always make it, as often they are very sick, after losing their mums. That was the case of little Mulu, in the picture.

The women of Heri Kwetu make handmade crafts with leftovers of African fabric and SOS Primates bring them to our country to sell to raise donations. As us for information about the crafts here or in our email info@sosprimates.org info@sosprimates.org
