Today we’­re deligh­ted to sha­re the first lec­tu­re in a new series of talks orga­ni­zed jointly by SOS Pri­ma­tes and the Fun­da­ció Dar­win, an orga­ni­za­tion dedi­ca­ted to the con­ser­va­tion of mar­mo­sets and tamarins.

The series, “Dar­win & SOS Pri­ma­tes After­noons,” begins with a pre­sen­ta­tion by Encar Gar­cia, Direc­tor and Co-foun­der of the Jaguar Res­cue Center.

In her talk, “New World Pri­ma­tes at the Jaguar Res­cue Cen­ter: The Cha­llen­ges of Res­cue, Reha­bi­li­ta­tion and Relea­se,” Encar explo­res the impor­tant work being carried out to pro­tect and reha­bi­li­ta­te res­cued pri­ma­tes in Cos­ta Rica.
