SOS Pri­ma­te visi­ted Món-La Bas­sa – ani­mal home, a sanc­tuary for ani­mals crea­ted in 2007, that gives a second oppor­tu­nity to over 300 ani­mals, most of them farm ani­mals res­cued from abu­se, who live in a natu­ral and dig­ni­fied way in this cen­tre, loca­ted in El Ven­drell, Tarragona.

Our NGO visits one cen­tre a year to get to know them, colla­bo­ra­te with them and build ties. Although SOS Pri­ma­tes is focu­sed on hel­ping the orpha­ned pri­ma­tes that need it, such as Rosei Epu­lu and Kali­ma, in the pic­tu­re, we also like to help other animals.

Món-La Bas­sa is an exam­ple of the­se ani­mals’ resi­lien­ce, some of them carry very sad sto­ries, of the tire­less work of volun­teers and its foun­der, Laia Galeano, who per­so­nally recei­ved us and to whom we thank her atten­tion and dedi­ca­tion to animals.
