We usually sha­re pic­tu­res and cases about chim­pan­zees, but at the LPRC, Lwi­ro Pri­ma­tes, another 14 spe­cies of pri­ma­tes live in the cen­tre, such as blue or dia­de­med mon­keys, in the pic­tu­re. SOS Pri­ma­tes won in 2015 a grant by Zoo Bar­ce­lo­na to build the enclo­su­res you see in the pic­tu­res, whe­re this and other spe­cies that we will talk about at another time resi­ded, with a total allo­ca­tion of €7,935.

Thanks to this joint effort, pri­ma­tes can enjoy lar­ger and richer spa­ces, which are nee­ded for their well­being and socia­li­sa­tion in groups.
