Giving for Apes

Today we are asking for some spe­cial help. Each year the Glo­bal Fede­ra­tion of Ani­mal Sanc­tua­ries (GFAS) orga­nor­ga­ni­ses “Giving For Apes”: a fun­drai­sing com­pe­ti­tion bet­ween pri­ma­te sanc­tua­ries and res­cue cen­tres around the world. The GFAS awards various pri­zes to tho­se who rai­se the most money. The­se pri­zes are sig­ni­fi­cant and, in cen­tres like Lwi­ro Pri­ma­tes, would cover a lar­ge por­tion of the die­tary costs for the pri­ma­tes who resi­de there.

Here at SOS Pri­ma­tes we are asking you to dona­te what you can (even €1) through our Spa­nish page, bet­ween now and 13^th Octo­ber, mea­ning the­re are 2 days left. If you are able to, we would be incre­dibly gra­te­ful, espe­cially if you wait until the “power hour” on Tues­day 13^th bet­ween 9–10pm, as for that hour the more dif­fe­rent peo­ple dona­te, the more the pri­ze will mul­tiply for the winner.
