At SOS Primates we have many figurines handmade in the Democratic Republic of the Congo by a group of disabled women at the Heri Kwetu Centre. They make them out of African fabric and they represent the Congolese woman carrying her baby and working. There are also beautiful animal figurines (giraffes, elephants, gorillas, chimpanzees, snakes, zebras, leopards, lions, lizards, crocodiles, dolphins and more).

They come in various sizes and each figurine is unique in its colour and shape. If you’re looking for a gift keep us in mind, as you will be supporting the women’s project at Heri Kwetu as well as Lwiro Primates.
