Here at SOS Primates we have many figurines handmade in the Democratic Republic of the Congo by a group of disabled women at the Heri Kwetu Centre. They make them from African fabrics and they represent the Congolese woman, carrying her baby on her back while working. There are also figurines of many beautiful animals (giraffes, elephants, gorillas, chimpanzees, snakes, zebras, leopards, lions, lizards, crocodiles, dolphins and many more). There are various sizes and each one is unique in its colour and shape.

If you’re looking for a gift for someone keep us in mind, as you’ll be supporting the women’s project and Lwiro Primates.
