This week, another chimp offs­pring arri­ved at CRPL, Lwi­ro Pri­ma­tes. “Mulu” was con­fis­ca­ted by autho­ri­ties after they dis­co­ve­red two chimp offs­pring were kept and about to be sold. Sadly, only “Mulu” could be res­cued. The other one had died hours ago.” Mulu” lost her mother and her group in the hands of poa­chers. She lived in awful con­di­tions for 7 months. It’s no coin­ci­den­ce she has a sad look on her face.

Also, a health check revea­led she has low defen­ses and an infec­tion. Worst of all, two bullets were extrac­ted from her shoul­der. This tra­gic story will chan­ge, now that “Mulu” arri­ved at CRPL. It can be rew­rit­ten thanks to all of you who make it possible.
