Today we announce very bad news;  little ‘Mulu’, who arrived weeks ago, has died. The cause is the severe infection and malnutrition she suffered. Sadly, she couldn’t win the battle and died last night. Rest in peace, little one. Even though a few days ago she seemed to recover due to permanent nursing from the CRPL team, Lwiro Primates (24 hours all week), she perished. It’s always tragic to say goodbye to animals, but more devastating to mourn their babies, who were only starting to live and had to face the terrible situation of watching their mother die in the hands of poachers.

Here, in the Western region, we can do several actions to stop this situation; raise awareness, educate and share this situation. Urge the western governments to help Africa in their fight against poverty, and to punish bush meat consumption. Contribute to the NGOs that work in order to rescue species, like SOS Primates.
