We want to thank the Zoo de Bar­ce­lo­na, awa­re­ness-rai­sing shop, mana­ged by Pre­mium Mer­chan­di­sing, for dis­tri­bu­ting the SOS Pri­ma­tes 2022 soli­da­rity calen­dars. The dona­tions rai­sed will go to the Lola ya Bono­bo Sanc­tuary in DR Con­go, the only bono­bo sanc­tuary in the world. The dona­tions will help res­cue orpha­ned bono­bos from ille­gal traf­fic­king, caring for them in the sanc­tuary until neces­sary and relea­sing them in the jun­gle if pos­si­ble. Friends of Bono­bos:

The shop is the clo­sest to the entran­ce to the Zoo on Welling­ton street. The­re, you can find the calen­dars in the area dedi­ca­ted to the con­ser­va­tion of bio­di­ver­sity, among other envi­ron­men­tally res­pon­si­ble items through which it colla­bo­ra­tes with NGOs and wor­king groups like ours.  The­se actions, repre­sen­ted in their pro­ducts, con­tri­bu­te to rai­sing public awa­re­ness to pre­ser­ve the natu­ral envi­ron­ment that the Bar­ce­lo­na Zoo and Pre­mium Mer­chan­di­sing pro­mo­te. We thank all tho­se invol­ved for allo­wing us to take this step in sprea­ding our work and collec­ting dona­tions, and we hope that more ins­ti­tu­tions will join in to help us as well.
