Today is Inter­na­tio­nal Gori­lla Day, perhaps you don’t know that by hel­ping SOS Pri­ma­tes you are also pro­tec­ting them, through our cons­tant sup­port of dona­tions to the CRPL (Lwi­ro Pri­ma­te Reha­bi­li­ta­tion Cen­tre), Lwi­ro Pri­ma­tes. At times the cen­tre has recei­ved con­fis­ca­ted baby gori­llas from the Kahu­zi-Bie­ga Natio­nal Park, very clo­se to the cen­tre, like the little one in the pho­to. The­re, they get sta­bi­li­sed, and when they are in bet­ter health con­di­tion, they get sent to other gori­lla-spe­ci­fic reco­very cen­tres in DR Congo.
