Today we encou­ra­ge you to take part in the onli­ne acti­vity in which you can dis­co­ver the novel La Bru­ma Ver­de, by Gon­za­lo Giner, which won the Fer­nan­do Lara Novel Award of 2020. It is orga­ni­sed by La Casa Encen­di­da, in Madrid.

The author addres­ses the envi­ron­men­tal pro­blem focu­sing on Afri­ca, ins­pi­red by fema­le pri­ma­to­lo­gists inclu­ding Rebe­ca Aten­cia, Car­me Vidal, Itsa­so Vélez del Bur­go and Laia Dotras (co-foun­der of SOS Pri­ma­tes), to whom he dedi­ca­tes the book.

The novel is based on the socio-eco­lo­gi­cal pro­blems that pla­gue the DR Con­go, whe­re it is set, and you will be able to meet seve­ral of the wor­kers of the CRPL, Lwi­ro Pri­ma­tes, inclu­ding its vete­ri­na­rian Luis Flo­res, as well as many of the pri­ma­tes hou­sed the­re. We are very proud that the author has men­tio­ned the work of SOS Pri­ma­tes along­si­de other orga­ni­sa­tions figh­ting to save our clo­sest relatives.
