Tomo­rrow is World Chim­pan­zee Day, and SOS Pri­ma­tes will be at Bar­ce­lo­na Zoo together with other orga­ni­sa­tions that pro­tect pri­ma­tes in dif­fe­rent coun­tries, to rai­se awa­re­ness about their pro­tec­tion and to find out what each of us can do to help in their conservation.

From 10am we will near the “Dama del para­igüa” scul­ptu­re with an infor­ma­tion tent and bet­ween 12pm and 2pm the­re will be a trea­su­re hunt that we have orga­ni­sed in which the con­tes­tants will learn about the dif­fe­rent spe­cies of pri­ma­tes and in par­ti­cu­lar the chim­pan­zee family of the Bar­ce­lo­na Zoo and will win a sur­pri­se prize.

We will dis­tri­bu­te infor­ma­tion about our NGO and the work we carry out and we will bring han­di­craft objects made in Con­go, as well as others that we make here in order to rai­se dona­tions for the chim­pan­zees and other pri­ma­tes of the CRPL, Lwi­ro Primates.
