Today, we acknowledge the Zoo Aquarium in Madrid for allowing us to set up a stand for #InternationalPrimateDay, celebrated on September 1st.
We have distributed information about the threats primates face and have collected donations that will cover the feeding expenses of over 200 orphaned primates living at CRPL, Lwiro Primates, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, including Kalole, as seen in the photo.
You can see how thin, white, and lacking in fur this infant was when it arrived some time ago. We will soon share a picture of its progress.
He is looking wonderful!
We want to thank the zoo staff, the visitors who approached our stand, and especially our team of volunteers, who are our greatest treasure: María, Natalia, and Marisa.
Remember we will be at the Barcelona Zoo tomorrow morning. We look forward to seeing you there!
