This Satur­day, Novem­ber 16th, our collea­gue Raúl Cabre­ra, Pre­si­dent of SOS Pri­ma­tes, will par­ti­ci­pa­te in the Mul­ti-Spe­cies Onli­ne Trai­ning Days focu­sed on the care and main­te­nan­ce of ani­mals in zoo­lo­gi­cal faci­li­ties, pre­sen­ting the con­fe­ren­ce titled “Mana­ge­ment and Main­te­nan­ce of Pri­ma­tes Under Human Care.”
During his pre­sen­ta­tion, he will sha­re essen­tial insights on ensu­ring the well-being of pri­ma­tes in sanc­tua­ries, reha­bi­li­ta­tion cen­ters, and zoos, as well as high­ligh­ting war­ning signs that indi­ca­te risks to their welfare.
He will also dis­cuss the efforts of SOS Pri­ma­tes to sup­port various faci­li­ties, espe­cially the Lwi­ro Pri­ma­te Reha­bi­li­ta­tion Cen­ter (CRPL) in the Demo­cra­tic Repu­blic of Con­go, which cares for orpha­ned pri­ma­tes like Kiri­ku, fea­tu­red in the photo.
