At SOS Primates, we support the Orangutan Foundation (OF) with the “This year we help…” campaign for 2024. They sent us these images showing the transport cages they were able to build with our donation, as well as the camera traps used to report the diversity of species in the jungles. The photos depict a female pig-tailed macaque with her baby on her back, as well as the translocation of a male orangutan and his release into a safe area (from a farming zone where he had entered and was at risk).

Thank you to everyone who participated in the calendar, lottery, and raffle campaign. It is rewarding to see these images, and they encourage us to keep working.

We are grateful to OF for sharing this information. In the meantime, we continue distributing the Christmas lottery and calendars, which this time will help the Jaguar Rescue Center in Costa Rica. This center rescues, rehabilitates, and releases animals after they pass through the shelter located in Limón.

Help us distribute the lottery or request your tickets at info@sosprimates.org.
