On the 21st of November, @SOSprimates had the pleasure of visiting Josep Maria Jujol school, in Barcelona, to share a talk with the five-year-olds from “Els Micos” (The monkeys) class along with their colleagues from the group “Els Trens” (the trains). In this session, we covered the different primate species and the threats they face. We also shared some simple actions that you can take from home to help protect them, one of the key objectives of our association.

The group always showed a keen interest and participation. It was clear that they had been working on the subject through the trimester and that they were highly motivated and curious.

We want to extend our gratitude to the teaching staff of the school, especially to Dunia who contacted us and brought us the opportunity to share a topic we are extremely passionate about and believe it to be key to build a more respectful future for all living beings with her class. Thank you from the bottom of our heart. And of course, thank you to our team of educators: María, Núria and Aurora.
