The 23rd of April, Sant Jordi, was a long day for SOS Primates, starting at 6 am to collect roses in the market. Other colleagues had been cutting up materials and preparing everything for days ahead. Our team assembled over 200 roses by hand, without plastics but with excitement. We spent all day and we managed to set up almost every single one, a huge success. Without a doubt, the orders made by some of the staff from Barcelona Zoo and the charity bouquet for the Hospital Evangèlic de Barcelona which achieved the figure of 36 roses (thank you to Melanie, Graciela, Carlos, Ana María, Marc, Estel y Núria) which has been delivered to those in charge of said centre, you can see the thank you note from them.

Thank you so much to those of you who have contributed, as you have helped the primates from LPRC, Lwiro Primates, at DR Congo, such as Banalia, in the picture. And of course, thank you to our team of volunteers (Núria, Rebeca, Jose, José, Ana María y Aurora) who are our greatest treasure.
