Sometimes primates rescued by CRPL, @Lwiro Primates, do not survive because they arrive in very bad conditions. This has been the sad case of little “Dunia” (meaning “Earth” 🌍 in Swahili), for whom everything possible was tried last week, but her injuries were too great. “Dunia” was shot through and through, killing her mother when poachers went deep into the jungle for meat.

Many thanks to the CRPL for fighting for her, to Virunga National ParkOkapi Conservation Project and Anthony Caere for organising her rescue.

Unfortunately there will be more cases like “Dunia”.

Please help us to continue to support CRPL.
