Coqui is also a cani­ne holis­tic the­ra­pist and dona­tes a por­tion of what he gets for his two books so we can keep fun­ding the orphan fee­ding expen­ses at the CRPL, Lwi­ro Pri­ma­tes. Three more baby chimps have arri­ved at the cen­tre in the last few weeks.

The books avai­la­ble for SOS Pri­ma­tes are Moro­cha la perri­ta obe­dien­te, a story about res­pon­si­ble ownership of pets and the impor­tan­ce of socia­li­sing with a trai­ner befo­re adop­ting a dog. The­re is an edu­ca­tio­nal anne­xe at the back of the book, with ques­tions and colou­ring sheets for kids to rein­for­ce their know­led­ge and a res­pon­si­ble ownership cer­ti­fi­ca­te. Avai­la­ble in Spa­nish and Cata­lan for a dona­tion of 15 euros.

The second book avai­la­ble is “Amor o Mal­tra­to”, which deals with issues like ani­mal tra­de, hun­ting, etc. It also dis­cus­ses pas­si­ve abu­se due to igno­ran­ce of what abu­se is.
