Yesterday, another baby chimpanzee arrived at the centre. She is six months old, judging by her size and dentition. She travelled 1000 km with a park ranger to her new home. Not only that, but she was fearful and wary, something normal if we consider that her mom, and part of her group, were killed to get to her. She’s the fifteenth baby that comes at the centre this year, a devastating number for the species. That means an average of 45 dead adults in the jungle.
If you help SOS Primates, you are helping the CRPL, Lwiro Primates. So they can keep fostering more and more primates.
You can still participate in the Christmas lottery. The draw is near, so if you don’t have a ticket already, you can order it at info@sosprimates.org (3 euro donation).
