Yesterday we watched a Goya award ceremony full of emotion, and we were attentive to see the award winner for the best documentary short, which finally and as we wished, was for MAMA, by Pablo de la Chica. It was very emotional to see the entire team receive the award and our colleagues Itsaso Vélez del Burgo and Lorena Aguirre, who respectively direct the CRPL, Lwiro Primates and the MUTIMA Psychosocial Center, MutimaAfrica, which works to help heal traumatic experiences derived from life in a country in conflict such as DR Congo.

We celebrate the award and feel it in our hearts as our own, because all our daily work and struggle to obtain donations is to continue helping the Lwiro Primate Rehabilitation Center, where the documentary is set in, its animals, workers and local community. The protagonists have thanked us for our support and for being part of the .

We, from SOS Primates, transmit that emotion and those thanks to all of those who make it possible for us to continue with this adventure: teamers, sponsors, team of volunteers, the board, and all the people who selflessly help us. The Goya is also a bit yours.
