Today we celebrated International Primate Day(IPD, September 1st) in the Barcelona Zoo and the Zoo Aquarium de Madrid. It’s been a hectic day, but we’re glad to have shared information about SOS Primates and its compromise with CRPL, Lwiro Primates, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Thank you very much to those who approached our stand, to the institutions that gave us permission(if next year you’d like to invite us, don’t hesitate to contact us), and, above all, to our greatest treasures; our volunteers. In Madrid: María, Marisa, Laura, and Jesús. In Barcelona: María, Laura,Marc,Mónica and Raúl.

The funds will be used to help shelter more primates in the CRPL, like the ones in the photos, that lost their mother in the hands of poachers.

Remember that tomorrow we’ll be at the V Fira Animalista de Mataró (in Barcelona), from 10 AM to 20 PM. We’ll surely need a hand. Do come by to greet us.
