Some of the members of the SOS Primates team reunited in Barcelona last night to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of our NGO. Even though it’s complicated to gather people distributed all around the globe, many members arrived. We discussed and cherished the evolution of our organization. We received an acknowledgment from the director of the CRPL, Lwiro Primates, Itsaso Vélez del Burgo. The primatologist, Rosa Garringa was present. We played a special bingo about primates ( crafts were included as a prize). We established special bonds, the kind that help follow the path we traced to help primates. We’d like to thank all the attendees, specially Núria Celdrán, who organized the event.

On these days two orphan primates have arrived at the CRPL(in the Democratic Republic of Congo). Behind their sad faces hides the story of their mother’s and part of the group’s death at the hands of poachers. Unfortunately, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done.

Could you please become part of our team?
