As we have explained previously, the purpose of creating our NGO was to support the CRPL, in the DRCongo, where the vast majority of our aid goes. This does not mean that we can’t help more areas of the world, where other primate species also need support. That’s why we will shortly introduce the new primate centre we’ll be helping this year.
This week we made a donation of 4122.32 euros to the Limbe Wildlife Center, in Cameroon. These fundscome from our campaign “This year we collaborate with…” which includes donations obtained through the calendars, the Christmas lottery and charity raffles.
The LWC is very happy with the result, just as we are, and will therefore invest the funds raised in the repair of the quarantine area for the primates, maintenance works of the centre and other tasks that will enrich the more than 190 primates of 14 different species that live in this recovery centre. In one of the photos, you can see our president, Raúl Cabrera, in the LWC with the centre’s staff in 2006 during a training stage there.
You can find more information about the LWC on the website: https://
From SOS Primates we would like to thank the centre, that has made our work much easier, the team of volunteers from our NGO who have participated in achieving these magnificent results, as well as all of you who have made it possible.
Let’s see if this year we can continue to improve, thanks to all of you who follow and support us!
