We’ve just received heart-wrenching images of the devastation caused by Typhoon Yagi on Cat Ba Island in Vietnam. This island is the only home to around 80 critically endangered Cat Ba langurs.
The Cat Ba Langur Conservation Project informs us that while it’s still too early to assess the impact, there is hope! The storms struck during the day when the langurs were active, allowing them to react, rather than at night when they would have been resting and more vulnerable.
You Can Help! We have a limited number of SOS Primates calendars available for a donation of just €10.
By getting yours, you’re not just marking your year—you’re actively supporting the conservation of the langurs! Want to make a difference? Reach out to us at info@sosprimates.org to request your calendar! Together, we can ensure a brighter future for these incredible animals.
Thank you for your continued support!
