Yesterday, on #InternationalPrimateDay, we were at the Zoo of Barcelona alongside other primate protection organizations collaborating with the zoo.
We distributed information about the threats primates endure. We also gathered donations that will be allocated to the feeding expenses of over 200 orphaned primates living at CRPL, Lwiro Primates, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Kyungu, as shown in the photo, was rescued some time ago and currently resides at CRPL.
We will soon share a picture of his current condition.
We thank the zoo for their warm hospitality, the visitors who stopped by to greet us and contribute, and our volunteer team, who are our greatest treasure: Nuria, Maria, Yuri, Sofia, Jose, and Aurora.
