On October 25 and 26, 2024, the Herbivores Course organized by AICAS (Iberian Association of Wildlife Caregivers) took place at Bioparc Valencia.
SOS Primates extends its gratitude to this association for their unwavering support of our NGO, as they consistently allow us to feature our handmade crafts at their stand, thereby enabling us to raise funds for the orphaned primates(now over 200) residing in theLwiro Primates (CRPL), in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, such as Namoya, shown in the photo.
Since its inception, AICAS has wholeheartedly supported our cause. Among its members are individuals who are committed to our association. The course was a resounding success, attracting 91 attendees from seven countries, including representatives from 18 zoological institutions in Portugal, Spain, Ireland, and Germany, along with professionals from animal medicine and universities from Madrid, Costa Rica, and Mexico.
AICAS is undoubtedly making crucial contributions to the training of animal caregivers. If you wish to learn more about their work, please follow them at their web and social media.
