This year, all donations will go to theJaguar Rescue Center (JRC), which rescues, rehabilitates, and releases hundreds of animals every year.
One of their success stories is little Juma, a black howler monkey who arrived severely electrocuted (her mother died instantly). After extensive treatment, Juma is now living freely in La Ceiba’s release station.
The JRC is also working on securing the local electrical wiring to prevent further accidents, through the Shock Free Zone program.
Thank you so much to everyone who participated.
Good luck to all!
