Today we share a video of the new arrivals at CRPL, Lwiro Primates. Like all new arrivals they are orphans of meat consumption. We never tire of sharing it: some local people pay for the meat for their consumption and the little ones are sold to illegal pet markets, laboratories or private zoological collections. SOS Primates is firmly against the keeping of primates as pets, for ethical, scientific and conservation reasons, among others.

Thanks to Kahuzi-Biéga National Park for seizing these little ones, a female chimpanzee and a female red-tailed monkey. You can vote for the name of the chimpanzee on the CRPL website,  Lwiro Primates.

And if you want to be part of our group of people committed to primates, become a team member of SOS Primates for 1 euro per month. https://www.teaming.net/sosprimates.
