Tomo­rrow, our NGO will be atten­ding Sant Martí’s dis­trict local fes­ti­val in Bar­ce­lo­na. In La Fes­ta dels Ani­mals 2021, loca­ted in Parc de Sant Mar­tí (in front of Can Pla­nes), from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

SOS Pri­ma­tes will have a stand the­re with infor­ma­ti­ve mate­rial and hand­crafts made in DR Con­go, by a group of disa­bled women in the Cen­tro Heri Kwe­tu. We will also offer other things made by our volun­teers or local busi­nes­ses. The goal is to collect dona­tions for more than 200 orpha­ned pri­ma­tes that live at the CRPL, Lwi­ro Pri­ma­tes. In the last few days, three baby chimps arri­ved at the cen­tre. The fee­ding expen­ses increa­sed with each con­fis­ca­tion. You can come by to get our 2022 calen­dar or a Christ­mas lot­tery tic­ket (we still have some). In the pro­gram, you can see what for­ma­ti­ve acti­vi­ties the­re will be, some of them aimed at our life­long friends, cats and dogs. Thanks a lot to the orga­ni­sa­tion for coun­ting on us.
