Last October, we prepared several boxes of equipment donated by the Zoo de Barcelona, consisting of uniforms and gloves, along with additional boxes of veterinary supplies generously contributed by Cristina Collell. These were for the Wild Fauna Hospital of AMUS Acción por el Mundo Salvaje (Action for the Wild World) in Vilafranca de los Barros, Badajoz.
The total weight of the materials amounted to 76.25 kg, and this equipment will be invaluable for the hospital staff in their daily tasks. The hospital has been operating successfully for over 30 years and specializes in providing medical assistance to wild fauna, covering numerous vertebrate groups, particularly birds and mammals

hey have been pioneers in implementing projects on bone grafts and cellular therapy, collaborating with scientific institutions, universities, and medical experts, among other organizations dedicated to preventing the extinction of our wildlife and protecting it from various threats.
s you know, SOS Primates manages and dispatches donated materials from the Barcelona Zoo to wildlife recovery centers, not limited to primates.
You can see in the accompanying photos some of the activities at the center and the AMUS team receiving the materials we sent.
