The past month of October, an SOS Primates' collaborator, the primatologist Rosa Garriga, traveled to the Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary (TCS), in Sierra Leona, where she works on research tasks for chimpanzee conservation. TCS shelters more than 100 chimpanzees that became orphans due to bushmeat consumption and offspring trafficking as pets, including Tom, in the photo. [...]
