An adult chimpanzee consumes 5kg of food (fruit and vegetables, among other things) each day. Now imagine multiplying that by the 98 chimpanzees living at the centre, although many of them are small, like Tongo in the photo, and you may think this reduces costs. The little ones drink milk made with baby formula, and [...]
We need help to bring some bags of dolls made in the Congo from Vitoria (Basque Country) to Barcelona. As travel is starting to open up again we’re hoping we can find a way, but we haven’t had any luck so far. If you have family or friends or you know a driver who takes [...]
There are generous people with big hearts who selflessly help us, like Marta Sala, of Shama's World, who handmade these dolls for us (which we have named “Marta” in her honour) and donated them to SOS Primates so we can raise money for Lwiro Primates in the Congo. They can be yours for a donation of [...]
We will soon have SOS Primates t-shirt related surprises, but until then you can get our classic black t-shirt, which is great quality and made in Spain, for a donation of just €10. Even so, if you’re from Barcelona or the surrounding area you can still get your rose to give to that special someone. SOS Primates is committed to protecting the environment [...]

If you’re finalising preparations and would like to involve your guests in a charitable gesture which helps the primates and poorest people living in the Congo, please contact SOS Primates on info@sosprimates.org. There’s an option for all budgets and tastes, and the [...]

SOS Primates will receive a portion of the donations raised, alongside the MONA Foundation and the Food Bank. This will [...]
